daspro GmbH was founded by lawyer Nikolaus Bertermann. Mr Bertermann is a certified specialist in information technology law with a focus on data protection law at the Berlin office of the renowned law firm SKW Schwarz.

We believe that legal training is a prerequisite for high-quality data protection advice. Data protection law requires constant balancing of conflicting rights and interests as well as the interpretation of vague legal terms. In our experience, only a lawyer with practical experience can do this.

Unlike other lawyers specialising in data protection, we make sure that our advisers do not work exclusively in data protection but continue to handle "regular" commercial law matters. We are convinced that this is the only way to ensure that data protection advice leads to practical and economically sensible results.

Through our close cooperation with the law firm SKW Schwarz, we have access to a large team of lawyers with proven expertise in information technology law, many of whom also have particular technical skills. The cooperation also allows us to offer local support – SKW Schwarz has offices in Berlin, Frankfurt/Main and Munich.
